From our point of view, the IMB Forum has established itself as a fixture in our sector. The event offers a high-level specialist audience the opportunity to inform themselves of the latest developments on the market. We intend to measure up to the importance of this trade exhibition and to set a clear signal with our participation. As suppliers of a complete ERP vertical market software solution for clothing companies in manufacturing and for the wholesale textile trade, we are working to fulfil our customers’ desire for innovative software solutions. As the first supplier in the sector, we have now made it possible for all prospective customers to use our software under a so-called ASP model. ASP stands for “Application Service Providing” and refers to the external hosting and operation of the application on our servers with guaranteed availability.
Small and medium sized enterprises in particular find this type of solution extremely interesting as they can make use of our software’s full range of functions for a relatively small charge and without the need for large initial investments. This future-oriented pattern of use via the Internet also enables the customer to access all data from anywhere in the world — it just couldn’t be easier. Takeup of this offer has been correspondingly good, and we are, of course, extremely happy with the exclusively positive responses received to date.
During the IBM Forum, we will be offering everyone interested the opportunity to inform themselves concerning this new form of software usage without any commitment. In addition, we have also extended the functionality of our software to enable the user to individually redesign the separate masks of the user interface — without the need for programming experience!
