Lectra Deutschland GmbH, Ismaning, Jacqueline Kellner, Marketing & Communications:
Lectra to showcase its 2007 technological innovations at the IMB FORUM IT 2007
Lectra – the world leader in integrated technological solutions dedicated to industries that use soft goods, will be at the IMB FORUM IT (November 21 – 22, 2007) in Cologne, Germany. Lectra will use this professional platform in order to showcase its latest innovations – during the Speaker’s Corner and by presenting its solutions on the Lectra booth. Lectra will focus on showing its new design solution (just launched during the ITMA show in September 2007), give the audience the possibility to discover or re-discover Lectra Fashion PLM, Lectra’s lifecycle management offer and Modaris 3DFit, the virtual prototyping solution in 3D.
Our design offer KALEDO: The new KALEDO Suite Software covers all the requirements for designing collections, prints, knits and yarn-dyed woven fabrics, offers style and textile designers an intuitive working environment, loyal to their trade. This innovative solution improves communication between the design teams and their network wether in-house or out, guaranteeing the quick and effective development of products in harmony with the original concept.
Lectra Fashion PLM: Lectra Fashion PLM is the leading PLM solution devoted to fashion, offering a virtual collaborative environment that supports iterative processes for design, development and collection marketing up to the point of sales. Lectra Fashion PLM ensures, among other aspects, effective teamwork for all the processes linked to sourcing fashion products and their associated fabrics: quick, accurate management and synchronization of multiple calls for tender; prototype reviews; highly-realistic costing simulations.
MODARIS 3DFit – the most powerful 3D virtual prototyping solution: By combining fabric data (thanks to a library of 120 fabrics, each with its mechanical characteristics), 2D patterns and 3D virtual mannequins (standard & configurable), Modaris 3DFit enables realistic simulation and visualization of the garment models in 3D, with a variety of different fabrics, motifs and color-ranges. It ensures the control of garment fit (ease, grain, sewing lines, and control of proportions), style and collection validations. This innovative solution reduces the number of physical prototypes required. It is the 2nd time that Lectra uses the IMB FORUM IT to display its innovative solutions. We already performed on this platform in 2004 & discovered that the IMB FORUM IT is one of the most professional events to address to a high level audience (the who is who of the industry, decision makers etc.)
